start a Bangkok project01 . why piexels for bangkok
European craft, Bangkok studio, code in your GitHub from day one.
Bangkok runs on a fast operating tempo. A founder hires the studio when the in-house team is six months behind the board deck, when the brand identity needs a step-change to read at regional tier, or when the AI layer everyone is talking about needs to actually ship into production rather than stay on a slide. Piexels exists for those moments. Brussels-founded in 2021, Bangkok studio since 2024, Webflow Expert Partner and a longest-retainer reference at Board of Innovation, the studio carries the senior bench depth of a European agency without Bangkok agency rates for the same output.
We are an agency, not a single founder with a laptop. The Bangkok team handles scoping, build, ship, and care for every contract. The Brussels HQ runs as the European time-zone partner when a project needs EU overlap. Engineering discipline is EU-grade: code review on every commit, Lighthouse 95+ on every consumer surface, WCAG 2.1 AA on every public site, security review on every sensitive data flow. The deliverable is yours from the first commit. No vendor lock, no junior swap mid project, no offshored handoff to a team you have never met.
The Bangkok studio is operational, not marketing. We meet at your office in Asok or Sathorn, at a quiet cafe in Thonglor, or over a thirty-minute video call when calendars are tight. Kickoff happens in person, weekly demos happen with the same engagement lead from start to finish, go-live happens with your IT lead in the room. The senior team works Bangkok hours (UTC+7), with Brussels available when the project needs European time-zone overlap on regulated workloads, audits, or pan-European compliance reviews.
The credibility check is the work itself. Federal government platforms shipped seven years ago and still live. Belgian classic-car insurer with a conditional-logic premium calculator. Equine DTC brand with multi-region Stripe invoicing. Antwerp food wholesaler with SOAP integration on a legacy LISA ERP. Bangkok-corridor scale-ups served from Sukhumvit, Bangkok studio shipping since 2024. Real production work for real clients, not a slide deck of logos.

05 . dual compliance
PDPA in Thailand. EU AI Act and GDPR in Europe. Built in, not bolted on.
Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act took full effect in June 2022 and sets the operating baseline for any Bangkok build that touches customer data. We map consent under Section 19 and lawful basis under Sections 23 to 26 in the scoping phase, document cross-border transfers to Claude API or other foreign processors under Section 28, build data subject rights workflows (access, rectification, erasure, portability), and apply the security obligations of Section 37 across storage, transmission and access control. Consent notices are bilingual EN-TH on consumer surfaces, in the register a Thai reader expects to see.
For workloads that touch European users or European entities the GDPR baseline runs in parallel. Article 28 processor terms with explicit sub-processor lists, Article 32 security of processing, Article 35 data protection impact assessment where the workload qualifies. The EU AI Act Article 50 transparency obligations (clear AI disclosure when a user interacts with a generative system) get wired into UI copy on every ClaudeKick build by default, not as an afterthought.
Data residency is a scoping question, not a marketing statement. AWS region of your choice is the default, selected per workload to match latency, regulator expectations and parent-company policy. BOT-regulated entities and BOI-promoted workloads with strict residency requirements run in-country on a Thai cloud provider or an in-region AWS deployment. Workloads with significant European user bases get a European region added to the deployment topology. Every cross-border data transfer is documented in the data flow map that ships with the scoping deliverable, with the legitimate basis named and the safeguards listed.

07 . questions from Bangkok
What Bangkok founders ask first.
01
Are you physically in Bangkok or working remote from Europe?
Bangkok studio since 2024. The Brussels HQ runs the European time-zone partnership when a project needs European overlap. The senior team works Bangkok hours (UTC+7). Kickoff and go-live happen in person in Bangkok. We can meet at your office, a quiet cafe in Asok or Thonglor, or over a thirty-minute video call.
02
Do you understand PDPA and Thai data residency?
Yes. The Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562, Sections 19, 23 to 29, 37 (cross-border per Section 28), lives at the centre of every Bangkok build. Section 19 on consent, Sections 23 to 29 on collection, use and disclosure principles, Section 28 on cross-border transfers (including Claude API calls), Section 37 on security obligations. All get mapped in scoping. Data residency is selectable per workload, with AWS region of your choice or a Thai cloud provider when regulator expectations require it. For BOI-promoted or BOT-regulated workloads we default to in-country residency.
03
Why hire a European-trained studio instead of a Bangkok agency?
EU-grade engineering discipline, transparent code ownership, no vendor lock, no junior swap. The senior team is mid-career and stays on the project from scoping to ship. Pricing is in USD and aligns with the Bangkok corridor rather than Sukhumvit agency rates for the same senior-team output.
04
Can you work alongside our existing internal engineering team?
Yes. The default engagement shape for Bangkok scale-ups is queue-extension. We pick up the workstream the internal team cannot ship in parallel. One engagement lead from our side, direct Slack or LINE access, weekly demo synced to your sprint cadence. We are not a body shop, and we do not replace your engineering leadership.
05
Do you handle Thai-language content or only English?
EN is the primary working language for engineering, scoping, and contracts. Thai-language content (UI strings, marketing copy, customer-facing surfaces) is reviewed by Thai-fluent collaborators before ship. The translations module on this site (see /th with ?lang=th) is hand-curated in formal Thai business register. Bilingual builds are standard, not an upcharge.
06
Are you BOI-aware for foreign-owned setups?
Yes. We help our clients evaluate BOI Activity 8 promotion eligibility for their digital products and software work. We work alongside your legal counsel and corporate-services partner on the BOI application file, we do not file it for you. The architectural choices in scoping reflect a BOI-friendly baseline where the client is pursuing promotion.
07
How do you price?
Fixed price per phase. Scoping is paid and refundable if the scope does not come together. Build phases are priced per deliverable, not per hour. USD invoicing through Stripe with bank transfer to a Wise USD or EUR account. Concrete numbers land in your inbox after a thirty-minute call once the scope shape is locked.
08
How fast do you respond?
Inside 24 hours, every working day. The reply is either a first scope sketch, a yes with a calendar slot, or an honest no with a reason. No three-week quote cycle, no salesperson layer between you and the senior team.
